How do I check authenticity of Christian Dior purse?

I am currently bidding on a Christian Dior purse on eBay. I have checked all the obvious things from the pictures, but there is a picture of the tag with its code on it. Is there a website or something that I can punch in that code that will say whether or not it is valid, and therefore authentic? The Dior website doesn't appear to have any such option.

Does Christian Dior have licence to manufacture lingerie in China ?

How can i tell if my Christian Dior watch is fake or not?

Basically i just got a watch, and it says DIOR on each side of the rectangle around the watch, at the back of the strap it says Genuine leather, and on the other it says No:1696 and Christian Dior underneath it, it also has the tag attached. Is their anything I can do to check if its real or fake?
